No , we do not use latex or PVC in the adhesives. The adhesives are instead made from thermoplastic rubber; Styrene-isoprene-styrene rubber (SIS) coated onto a spunlace non-woven Fabric. If you are allergic to thermoplastic rubber; Styrene-isoprene-styrene rubber (SIS), then you should not use the adhesives supplied. If you are unsure, then it is always best to cut a small test strip to try before full use. If you are allergic and you still wish to try the patches, you can consider buying your own low irritant adhesives from a chemist or otherwise you may consider using a bandage as a substitute for holding the patch in place if appropriate.

Ankle and hips (trochanter bursitis)

I have used the patches on three areas with amazing results. One was on my ankle, 12 hours later the pain was completely resolved. The other two were on my hips for greater trochanter bursitis.

Elbow swollen up to the size of a golf ball

I was diagnosed with severe bursitis in my left elbow, and I saw an orthopaedist who attempted to aspirate it and also injected cortisone with absolutely no effect.

A couple of weeks later, he aspirated over 30 cc’s of fluid, and the next day all the fluid had returned. The only alternative offered was surgery, which he pointed out had limited success. That’s when I found your treatment and ordered an initial 10 patches, which greatly diminished the swelling. I re-ordered more patches to finish off the treatment, and I have absolutely no swelling or discomfort now.

Baker's cyst on the back of knee

Thank you, this is my second round of patches.

First, I had a baker’s cyst on the back of my knee, used 6 patches, pain and cyst GONE!

Have had no problems since. So, I gave the rest to a friend. He said his went away but only used 4, so wants to try more, and I have had something come up on my wrist, going to try patches. Will see what happens.

Hi Toky, just to say we’ve ordered 20 more patches as the first lot really improved the Bursitis in my Elbow. It reduced the pain mainly, but although it seems full of fluid in the mornings the swelling has not reduced greatly.

Mind you it’s quite an art fitting them firmly to an elbow and still being able to move!

I got the patches yesterday evening. I have had five knee operations on my right knee and have arthritis. I also have a baker’s cyst on the back of my knee and off to the front.

I tried it last night and I was surprised at the results and it actually took away some of the swelling. I work out every other day and I think these will help.
